Superintendent Donald R. Moore, Jr. is a dynamic visionary and an influential gospel
preacher committed to facilitating spiritual salvation and wholeness. A native of Kansas City, Kansas, he is esteemed within the community for his compassion for people and passion for basketball.
Superintendent Donald R. Moore, Jr., having undergone a spiritual transformation upon
encountering Jesus Christ in 1994, firmly espouses the view that the gospel of Jesus Christ offers hope, healing, and restoration. He is committed to continual personal development to communicate this message of faith effectively. On May 20, 2023, Superintendent Donald R. Moore, Jr. attained a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Theology from Heart of America Bible College & Seminary in Raytown, MO. He previously served and led ministry teams at the Power Realm Church of God in Christ, operating under the leadership of Superintendent Elvin Rhone, Jr. His unwavering loyalty and strong work ethic have been exemplified in his 16 years as Pastor, diligently tending to the members and families of the Pentecostal Powerhouse Church of God in Christ, Inc. in Kansas City, Kansas. Subsequently, in March 2024, he was appointed Superintendent of the Suburban District by Bishop L. F Thuston, Prelate of Kansas East Jurisdiction and Chairman of the Churches of God In Christ.
Superintendent Donald R. Moore, Jr has been married to Nikita Moore for 24 years, and they have four adult children and six grandchildren. He enjoys walking his dogs, reading, visiting the elderly, and spending time with his family and friends.
